Botanical Beach, Juan de Fuca Provincial Park - a moderate 2.9 km loop trail to incredible tide pools. 2. Cox Bay Lookout, Tofino - a moderate 2.6 km out & back trail - it’s a quick but steep climb up (VERY muddy!). 3. Sombrio Beach, Juan de Fuca Provincial Park - a moderate 2.9 km out & back trail to a secret waterfall. 4. Jocelyn Hill, Gowlland Tod Provincial Park - a moderate 5.5 km out & back trail with lots of scrambling to multiple viewpoints of Finlayson Arm. 5. Canso Plane Crash Hike, Tofino - a moderate 5 km hike that takes you to the site of a 1945 bomber plane crash (⚠️ do not touch or climb on the plane!). 6. Christie Falls, Ladysmith - a moderate 7 km loop trail that takes you to a waterfall oasis. ❗️Check the tide tables before visiting the Juan de Fuca hikes. Make sure to visit these beaches at low tide as incoming tides can cause sudden flooding. #vancouverislandhikes #vancouverisland #vancouverislandguide #hikebc #explorebc #britishcolumbia #hikingtheglobe #hikecanada #outdoorcouple #outdoorcreator #canadiancreator".
