Founder Joanne Curtin is the visionary founder of The Curtin Team and a respected leader in the real estate industry, known for her persistence, innovation, and over two decades of impact. She began her professional journey as an elementary school teacher, but a deep curiosity about investing and building wealth—sparked by Rich Dad, Poor Dad—led her to make a bold career change. In 2001, Joanne founded the Curtin Team in North Atlanta. With relentless determination, she and her husband Tom grew it into one of the most successful real estate teams in the region, closing over helping more than 2,000 clients. Joanne’s leadership also helped launch and co-own the Keller Williams Realty Consultants Roswell Market Center, now a top office in the Southeast. And she has helped countless agents launch successful careers of their own in real estate. In 2018, Joanne co-founded Curtin Team Cares, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that reflects her deep commitment to service and community impact. As President, she leads initiatives that support families and individuals in need throughout North Atlanta, organizing fundraisers, volunteer projects, and direct aid efforts that make a meaningful difference. A University of Georgia graduate with a Master’s in Education, Joanne continues to teach and inspire within the real estate community. Originally from Dalton, Georgia, she now lives in Milton with her husband Tom, their two children, and their beloved dogs, Fluff and Charlie.
CEO Tom began his real estate career in 2001, working alongside his wife Joanne to build the operational foundation of the Curtin Team. Drawing on his background in marketing, he helped shape a client-focused organization that has closed over 2,000 home sales. A key contributor to launching the Keller Williams Realty Roswell Market Center, Tom’s leadership helped establish it as one of the top-performing offices in the Southeast Region. In addition to his executive role, he actively manages a real estate investment portfolio in North Atlanta and mentors others on building wealth through real estate. Tom is deeply passionate about real estate investing and empowering others to achieve financial freedom. His belief in work-life balance led to the creation of a team model that allows Realtors to thrive professionally while enjoying personal fulfillment. He holds a business degree from the University of Georgia’s Honors Program and is a proud Roswell High School graduate. Outside of work, Tom enjoys hiking and spending time at his cabin in Blue Ridge. He and Joanne live in Milton and are proud parents of a son at the University of Tennessee and a daughter in high school.
Kanani is the Curtin Team's Lead Agent Partner & Mentor. Kanani comes to real estate from a career in sales and marketing in the medical diagnostics industry and most recently as a Life and Business Strategist for women. She was a Curtin Team client when her family relocated here from New Jersey and was so impressed with the Curtin Team's follow-up and commitment to the community that she now is part of the team! She is passionate about serving others while also making a positive impact in the world. Kanani was born and raised in Hawaii and has lived in 7 states so she is no stranger to the moving process! Kanani lives in Alpharetta with her husband, Scott, two college sons, Dominic and Riley, and two rescue dogs, Hutch and Rocky. Kanani also serves on the board of the Children's Development Academy in Roswell and enjoys volunteering in our community. Kanani blends her business background, life coaching tools, and her commitment to serving others to help others make their best real estate move. As Account Manager, her role revolves around ensuring that all buyers and sellers receive the utmost attention, overseeing all aspects of real estate transactions to insure a smooth transition from agreement to closing. When Lynne is not dedicating herself to her professional pursuits, she loves spending quality time with her family and friends. Being a devoted soccer and dance mom, she can often be found on the pitch or in a dance studio. Currently residing in Roswell, Georgia, Lynne is happily married to her husband Danny. Together, they are raising her two wonderful children: son Logan and daughter Lily, along with their beloved dog, Jackson.
