Sightseeing Tours
Sightseeing Opportunities (Available to all Registered Attendees) Boxed lunches will be available to all sightseeing participants at the conclusion of the Tuesday morning session from 12:30 PM to 12:50 PM. The location where the lunches will be distributed will be provided at a later date. Please indicate on the sign-up form if you will pick up a regular lunch or prefer a vegan box.
(Maximum: 52 participants) Explore the attractions that make our destination truly one-of-a-kind. At America's oldest state park, get up close and personal to the Falls and feel the unparalleled power of nature. Learn about species native to the Great Lakes and immersive exhibits before descending 175 feet down the Niagara Gorge and feel the unrivaled power of the Bridal Veil Falls. This tour includes stops at the Aquarium of Niagara, Great Lakes 360, the Cave of the Winds, Niagara Falls State Park, and Goat Island sightseeing. Activity Level: 3/5 - Cave of the Winds and sightseeing through Niagara Falls State Park are outdoor activities that require walking and some stairs; most attractions are outdoors.
(Maximum: 52 participants) As stunning as the natural beauty in Niagara Falls is, there's even more to discover inside museums, galleries, and at public art spaces. Explore modern and contemporary art and celebrate the production of amusement rides in Western New York with a ride on an antique carrousel. This tour includes stops at the Herschell Carrousel Museum, the Castellani Art Museum, and Dicamillo Bakery. Activity Level: 1/5 - Some walking through museums, all attractions are indoors.
(Maximum: 52 participants) Discover Niagara Falls USA's rich history, from pre-Revolutionary War to the creation of alternating current and hydroelectricity to the last stop on the Underground Railroad for freedom seekers. This tour includes stops at Old Fort Niagara, the Niagara Power Vista, and the Underground Railroad Heritage Center. Activity Level: 2/5 - Moderate walking, partial outdoor activities.
(Maximum: 15 participants) Take your taste buds on a culinary escapade and experience the local flavors and fare, fresh baked goods, and a booming wine scene found throughout Lewiston, NY, located 7 miles North of Niagara Falls, situated on the Niagara River. This tour includes stops at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute, the Village Bake Shoppe, and Bella Rose Vineyard & Winery. Activity Level: 1/5 - Minimal walking, all indoor eateries.
(Maximum: 15 participants) Whether you're in search of a small snack, scrumptious spread, or something to sip on, North Tonawanda has something for every palate. From chocolate making to breweries to bistros, their entertainment district has something for everyone. This tour includes stops at Webster's Bistro & Bar, Platter's Chocolate Factory, and Woodcock Brothers Brewing Company. Activity Level: 1/5 - Minimal walking, all indoor eateries.
(Maximum: 10 participants) From trophy trout and salmon to smallmouth bass and walleye, every species of fish that swims in the Great Lakes can be found in the waters around Niagara Falls USA. This tour includes fishing in the Niagara River in Lewiston, NY, and the Brickyard Brewing Company. Activity Level: 2/5 - Mostly outdoors.
