One of our favorite hotels that we've stayed in. Right on the water (ha ha), so much history and beautiful interiors. And we stumbled on a cool underground wine cellar out back.
Exploring Venice at night is magical. It's so quiet, not a soul around, its like something out of a movie. What makes it even better is finding a wine bar where you sit outside on rugs, drink, and watch the canals.
You just have to. It's Venice. I will however say it's crucial to put your wallet in your front pocket and keep two hands on your bags. Watching clever pick-pockets try and find targets at this location is a bonus.
Our our day trip to the island of Burano, we stopped and had lunch at this fantastic restaurant. I had squid-ink risotto that was amazing.
One of the most picturesque streets ending in 16th century Catholic church with a bell tower that has seen better days. Great photography spot.
Stopping by Murano it's amazing to see the glass blowing first hand and then tour the gallery of amazing art created here.
