Makaruni, home made pasta with home mare goulash. Local dish made by 4 villages. Makarunada takes place traditionally in August and it is a big village party.
The only problem here is parking. But the color of the sea + just couple of people on the beach is what makes this beach even more special. Reachable only by car.
There are plenty of bays to go to when on Korčula. This one is closest to us from Žrnovo. You won’t be sorry to swim there and have a cold beer in the beach bar. Reachable only by car.
Lumbarda is a district on Korčula with a lot of beaches, wine, concerts, donkey races and plenty of other adventurous things to do.

When you are walking in the city after entire day of swimming and you get hungry, this can be your go-to spot. Place has a great pizza and is not so expensive. Not to mention it is on the main restaurant street in old town. During the peak season you'll have to wait for a table as it is located on the most popular location.
This is one of our best places on Korčula to swim&snorkel. The only downside is that sun falls pretty quickly because of the bay position. So I would do an entire day here. Be mindful it is also in the middle of nowhere so if you are going for entire day make sure you pack with food and drink for the day.
Amazing bay, voted one of the most beautiful bay in the world. You can't miss this one. If you are on Korcula and do not go here to swim and snorkel, you missed a lot and would have to come back.
Drive a buggy on unpaved roads, visit hidden bays and see Korčula differently. It is pricey but worth it. Great experience.
Amazing LaBanya with a beautiful beach, amazing view, events and restaurant. Free parking. We are here if not every then every two days for sure. Bar is expensive but the overall feeling there is amazing. Kids love it as well.
