Down a rabbit hole as one does late at night after finding this version of "Name" by the Goo Goo Dolls and it being the first aired performance. Then I started searching for other firsts and ended up finding these gems: Eminem's first song "Just Lose It" at a Blockbuster and the first time Counting Crows appeared on Letterman to feel like looking back at the first TV appearance.
